A Sample Of - "When I Was Young I Said To Myself"

When I was young I said to myself,

“Girl, climb a mountain”

Put your back into it

Put your heart and soul into it

Put a heart attack into it

Get to the top

Don’t stop for too long,

not too long for anything but rest

Test those little pink legs,

test that squidgey arse and those

knees of knobbles and grazes

Don’t forget to drink in the ages

it takes to get to each…..tier?

“I said climb the mountain!”
